I love my ‘invention’ of the Workbox Weight, which is a cross between a pincushion and a paperweight. Many of my pincushions are stuffed with polyester wadding or similar and as a result are just too bouncy. When I put something on my worktable, I want it to stay put! When I have one of these treasures on my desk, I can add pins of various sizes, quilt clips, gold needles and even have a thimble hanging on a large corsage pin. I must add here that mine never makes it to my workbox because I am lucky enough to have a workroom instead.
