Catherine Archer Needleroll Kit

A perfect and very simple needleroll for you to create from a cross stitch design and line with some of my Catherine Archer fabric. You complete the needleroll with a twisted cord in that lovely ‘schoolhouse red’ colour.

This kit is supplied boxed and includes unbleached 28-count Cashel linen, Catherine Archer fabric, threads, three gold plated needles, gold plated scissors, chart and instructions.

When the needleroll is unfurled, it measures 9 x 2.5in (23 x7cm).

I make no excuses for creating yet another little kit inspired by Catherine Archer’s sampler.

I love to keep my gold needles in rolls or needle books. I usually arrange them in their different sizes – that tends to be when I clear up after finishing a project, not necessarily whilst I am stitching! I stitched this random sample of patterns from my sampler on to a length of linen and found that it looked rather good rolled up. It stands up on its own and happily accommodates an elegant pair of embroidery scissors.
