These little stitched books have become a feature of Cross Stitch Guild Membership over the past 30 years. This versatile and creative way of learning and presenting all types of counted embroidery is becoming very popular and was introduced to our Members by Sue Hawkins (our Technical Editor at this time). Sue and I had taken a party of stitchers to Copenhagen and visited the Museum of Art and History where we were shown a little stitched book and that inspired Sue – and the rest, they say is history!
