Chintz Whisker Hook Pocket

I do not know about you but sometimes where I have had to reverse stitch, I am left with a shadow or fine whiskers from the old stitches. I also sometimes I find a tiny flaw in my linen and this tiny hook is the perfect answer.

I am supplying the whisker hook in a hand-crafted pocket using the miniature version of my new Secret Inheritance fabric. The pocket measures 1.25 x 5in (4 x 13cm) when closed and the hook and handle 4.5in (11.5cm) long.

I found these amazing tiny hooks when Bill and I travelled across India this spring.  Hand crafted in Lucknow, the tiny hook is quite sharp, so you have been warned! The hook is mounted with a tiny brass ring into a cylinder of mango wood.  I use mine to catch ends that have escaped and generally to tidy up the back of my work!
