Acorn & Oak Tree Pocket Pincushion

This ingenious ‘wrapped’ pincushion is created by working a square design and adding a folded hem. It is then folded, corner to corner, and joined just at the points with a shell button. Inside there is a plain pincushion filled with dry rice and lavender.

This little treasure will be supplied in acid-free tissue and comes with a very elegant pair of scissors.

You know how much I love autumn – not just because of my memories of meeting my husband. The season is quite stunning here in the Cotswolds and the colours of the countryside can change day-to-day. And yes, I do mentally match them to my favourite thread colours as I go on dog walks!
