The ABC Antique Flower Compendium & Trio Accessories Kit

This exquisite compendium is decorated in cross stitch with a few additional optional stitches. Each section of the box is stitched separately and the whole thing is very simply hand stitched together. The accessories include a scissor chatelaine, an exquisite needlebook and a pin pad.

The box and the accessories will be supplied boxed and will include the unbleached linen, pre-sorted threads, 8 gold-plated needles, lining fabric, mount board, flannel padding, shell buttons, antique silk ribbon, charts and illustrated instructions.

The box when completed measures a useful  6 x 3.5 x 2in (15 x 9 x 5cm).

Inspired by wildflowers included in 17th ad 18th century samplers and tapestries, many of which have been used to decorate my inherited casket. More of this here.
