3 in stock

Originally designed for Mrs Parkman’s Needlework Academy (held in October 2025), this is now available for you to make your own. As you can see, I have used some of my own exclusive Miniature Secret Inheritance fabric to line the lid, the base and create the side panels

The boxed kit includes the charts in colour and symbols, illustrated instructions, Miniature Secret Inheritance linen, pure linen evenweave, pre-sorted threads, gold-plated needles, faux silk lining fabric, cotton batting, shell buttons and linen band.

The box, when completed measures 12 x 8 x 2.5in (30.5 x 20 x 6.5cm) and is supplied boxed complete with a pair of my favourite Italian chatelaine scissors.

The story of this little treasure

The flower motifs are all hand drawn images inspired by samplers and early embroideries viewed at the exhibition at Witney Antiques and are worked in counted cross stitch on pure linen. The poem is a personal favourite and is taken from one of my antique samplers.

The designs for the cross stitch were originally intended for my fabulous inherited replica casket. The casket is a personal treasure celebrating 40 years in the cross stitch world and which is not repeatable – or for sale! After much demand, I have created a small range of casket-inspired treats, and this delicious workbox is the latest.
