Wildflower Scissor Fob with Chatelaine Scissors
I was hunting through one of the six boxes big boxes that hold interesting finds for Treasures, when I found this snippet. I have no memory of where it came from and why I had not made use of it before. Is it the size of my collection or my memory?
The flowers are from my head (as usual) and are worked in counted cross stitch with the addition of French knots and bullion stitches. I have added a button from my collection to match the thread colours and made a twisted cord to add the scissors.
It measures 2.75 x 2in (7 x 5cm) and will be supplied wrapped in Indian silk and boxed.

The story of this little treasure
When I discovered this piece of stitching, I was quite shocked that I could not remember what it was for, but my husband reminded me of the 11,000 plus motifs on my computer. I decided to relax. I just grabbed it and looked for the perfect piece of fine linen for the back, and I made it to attach to one of my favourite pairs of scissors.
Scissors from Premax in Italy are difficult to beat and these chatelaine ones are gorgeous, fiendishly sharp, small but with ample size finger holds.
